Privacy Policy

Wiki is a fictional encyclopedia that remembers generated pages. The articles are made up; the basic site operations are less whimsical.

What Wiki Stores

When a new article is generated, Wiki stores the page title and generated markdown so future visitors see the same page. Wiki may also keep ordinary server logs, including request paths, IP addresses, user agents, response codes, and timing, to keep the site working and to discourage drive-by nonsense with a clipboard.

Search and Generation

Search queries are used to find saved pages. Requests for new page titles may be sent to the page-writing backend so it can invent an article. Avoid putting private information into page titles unless you are comfortable with the machinery looking directly at it.

Bot Checks

Before generating a new article, Wiki may use Cloudflare Turnstile, including invisible checks, to help tell humans and automated traffic apart. Cloudflare describes how Turnstile handles data in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Contact

If a generated page includes something that should be removed, contact the site operator.
